Niedner, National Gold Laureate of the Grand Prix SST (OHS Grand Prix) in the ‘’Large Company’’ Category

It was during the 13th National Gala of the Grands Prix santé et sécurité (Health and Safety Grand Prix) that Niedner was awarded the National Gold Laureate in the ‘’Innovation – Grandes entreprises’’ (Innovation – Large Company) category.

Niedner distinguished itself through the high-pressure testing of fire hoses, which were completely readapted to protect workers from possible hose burst or projected parts.

This category recognizes accomplishments, tangible projects or proactive steps related to occupational health and safety. It is subject to prizes being awarded in regions across the Province of Quebec. The regional laureates are then considered for the Occupational Health and Safety National Grand Prix Gala, which is held each spring.
