The city of Montreal has awarded Sanexen Environmental Services Inc. 4 contracts, totalling 20 km (12.4 miles), for the rehabilitation of drinking water mains using a cured-in-place trenchless technology. The Aqua-Pipe® structural liner, which was developed by Sanexen, will be used to eliminate leaks and extend by more than 50 years the service life of the City’s water distribution network.
The work that will be carried out is designed to rehabilitate several sections of pipe throughout the many Boroughs of Montreal, and is slated for completion by the end of September 2017.
