Logistec Corporation, Sanexen's parent Company, is a publicly traded company with activities in marine and environmental services.
In 2009, the company expanded its service offerings following the acquisition of Niedner, a century-old manufacturing plant. Niedner’s products include our Water technology, a water main liner designed and developed by Sanexen.
In 2015, Sanexen also acquired Excava-Tech who, for 15 years, was our excavation and civil engineering subcontractor for our water main lining work. In 2016, we purchased the Rouyn-Noranda firm Regénération, specializing in the revegetation of mining sites. Both companies merged with Sanexen at the end of 2016.
On July 6, 2017, Logistec acquired 51% of the Toronto firm Fer-Pal, who, since 2001, has been our Aqua-Pipe licensee in Ontario and 7 American states. Through this transaction, Sanexen’s territory now covers all of North America.
Sanexen also owns 49% of Qikiqtaaluk Environmental (QE), an Inuit company based in Iqaluit (Nunavut). This partnership has positioned Sanexen to offer its expertise in all areas of Canada’s North. Focusing on the future, the company offers its clients a unique expertise in the field and a team that is dedicated to solving their issues. Sanexen is also in partnership with Avataani, a company serving the region of Nunavik.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Niedner revolutionized the North American fire hose industry with its development of more compact, lighter weight products. In fact, the use of these products has become an industry standard.
Niedner is a leader in a number of markets, including municipal firefighting and manufacturing hoses for forest fires, industrial applications, snowmaking and water main rehabilitation.
