Sanexen is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for its Brossard offices.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to join our team of analysts responsible for the support, evolution, and implementation of the D365 F&O solution. The role is primarily focused on the Finance and Project modules and actively contributes to business process optimization and organizational value creation.

  • Lead workshops and analyze requirements for Finance and Project domains; document target processes and requirements.
  • Perform gap analyses, recommend solutions, and obtain stakeholder alignment.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables: functional specifications, business rules, processes, scenarios, test cases, and user guides.
  • Support configuration and oversee customization requests: acceptance criteria, functional validation, and impact management.
  • Plan and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities, manage anomalies (triage, prioritization, follow-up), and support production go-lives.
  • Contribute to D365 F&O implementations across various subsidiaries.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support: diagnosis, resolution, communication, and recurrence prevention.
  • Contribute to continuous optimization: standardization, controls, operational efficiency, data quality, and user adoption.
  • Administer and track D365 licenses: allocation, role-based adjustments, usage monitoring, and cost optimization recommendations.
  • Manage D365 F&O security: design and maintain roles, duties, and privileges; ensure Segregation of Duties (SoD) as required.
  • Manage access requests: user creation and management, environment-specific access, periodic access reviews, and onboarding/offboarding processes.

Sought Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in business analysis or an ERP functional role.
  • Expertise: Significant experience in D365 F&O implementation and support.
  • Excellent synthesis skills and rigorous documentation habits.
  • Strong sense of priority and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Natural ability to mobilize stakeholders and a strong team spirit.

Assets

  • Process Mastery: Deep understanding of Finance and Project processes (accounting cycles, budget tracking, project cost/revenue, invoicing, etc.).
  • System Governance: Proven experience in D365 F&O license management and security (roles, access, and governance).
  • Language Proficiency: Full bilingualism in French and English (oral and written). This is essential for collaborating with our diverse team and international partners.
