Sanexen is seeking a Project Coordinator, Administration for its Brossard offices.
Job Description
The Project Coordinator, Administration oversees the administrative follow-up of projects carried out by Sanexen to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and adherence to schedules and budgets. He or she works closely with the management team, field team, and senior leadership. The position is primarily based at the Brossard office, with occasional site visits to project locations.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in monitoring project schedules, deliverables, and critical milestones;
- Oversee budget tracking, expenses, as well as financial and contractual commitments;
- Prepare purchase orders, follow up on invoicing, and manage project financial documentation;
- Organize and prepare meetings (invitations, agendas, meeting minutes) with the project team and/or clients;
- Monitor performance indicators and mitigation measures identified during risk assessments, both pre-project and throughout project execution;
- Maintain and update internal project management systems and tracking databases;
- Compile and file technical and administrative project documentation (analytical results, disposal certificates, excavation volumes, environmental monitoring reports, etc.).
Qualifications required
Sought Profile
- Degree in administration, project management, accounting, or a related field;
- Relevant experience in administrative project support (ideally in environmental, construction, or technical industries);
- Strong proficiency with project management tools and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Strong attention to detail, rigor, and organizational skills;
- Excellent ability to use Excel for data management, analysis, and tracking;
- Strong comfort and interest in using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to optimize data management and administrative efficiency;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and work under tight deadlines;
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.
Assets
- Knowledge of the environmental sector or construction sites;
- Experience with project management systems or ERP platforms;
- Comfort with budget tracking and contract management;
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Proficiency in French and English:
