Sanexen is seeking a Human Ressources Business Partner for its Acheson offices.
Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and trusted advisor to managers within a dynamic, multi-project environment. The role is focused on driving organizational impact by aligning HR programs with business goals, acting as a change agent during transformations, and ensuring a positive work climate. This position requires a high level of expertise in HR legislation, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex employee and labor relations for both unionized and non-unionized staff.
Main responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to managers on recruitment, talent management, training, compensation, benefits, and the application of corporate policies.
- Talent & Performance Management: Partner with leadership on performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement/retention strategies.
- Employee & Labor Relations: Advise on disciplinary processes, manage employee conflicts and absenteeism, and represent the employer in union negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Program Deployment: Roll out HR programs across the organization, tracking progress and measuring results to ensure consistent application.
- Health & Safety: Coordinate workplace health and safety files in collaboration with specialized advisors.
- Organizational Development: Act as a change agent during transformations and promote a positive corporate culture.
- Data Analysis: Interpret HR performance indicators to provide proactive, strategic recommendations to client groups.
- Talent Acquisition: Collaborate on innovative recruitment strategies and lead the onboarding/integration of new corporate employees.
- Assisting in employee reviews, promotions, disciplinary meetings, etc.
- Leading and managing the IDP program
- Managing employee agreements (i.e. company paid training and US Visa Applications and US personal tax payments)
- Assistance is with US work visa applications.
Qualifications required
Sought Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a similar HRBP or senior HR role.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in French and English (both spoken and written).
- Business Acumen: Strong results-driven approach with exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of MS Office and a strong command of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding initiative, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally.

- Labor Relations Expertise: In-depth knowledge of interpreting and applying collective agreements and managing unionized environments.
- Strategic Impact: Proven ability to analyze performance indicators to drive proactive HR solutions.
- Change Management: Demonstrated experience guiding managers through complex organizational transformations.
Proficiency in French and English:
