Job Description
As an Industrial Water and Effluent Treatment Operator (electromechanic), you’ll be joining a team that’s passionate about environmental rehabilitation. This challenging role combines technical expertise in electromechanics with the operation of water treatment systems. Main responsibilities
- Operations and optimization: Install, operate and optimize fixed and mobile water treatment units.
- Technical maintenance: Rigorous maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and mechanical equipment.
- Quality control: Ensuring the proper operation of control systems and related equipment.
- Design: Participate in the design of in situ treatment units.
- Problem solving: Diagnose and solve technical problems in the field.
- Administrative follow-up: Draft operation follow-up reports and work reports.
Qualifications required
Sought Profile
- Training: DEP in water treatment process control.
- Technical expertise: Relevant experience or specialization in electromechanics, hydraulics, building mechanics, plumbing or plant maintenance.
- Languages: Perfect command of French (spoken and written).
- Mobility: Available to work anywhere in Quebec and Canada.
- License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Assets
- Specific experience: Knowledge of biological and membrane treatment processes.
- Languages: Fluency in spoken English (for projects in unilingual English-speaking regions).
- Superior license: Possession of a class 1 or 3 driver’s license.
Proficiency in French and English:
